He was born on 20 July 1977 in Mariupol.

He started his scientific career in 1999 as an engineer at the research center of Priazovsky State Technical University (Mariupol). In 2003, he defended his candidate's dissertation at the Donbas State Engineering Academy (Kramatorsk). In 2005, he was promoted to associate professor. In 2013, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnipro). Since 2014, he has been working as Head of the Department of Metal Forming at Priazovsky State Technical University (Mariupol). Since 2015, he held the academic title of professor.

He chaired and was a member of project and expert groups on the development of higher education standards, accreditation of specialities, educational and research programmes.

As a manager and performer, he was a participant of 58 research and development works, R&D projects and grants, including 5 research and development works funded by the State Budget of Ukraine and 17 research and development works funded by enterprises. He has more than 30 implemented design and technological solutions with a positive technical and economic effect.

He is a member of specialised academic councils for the defence of doctoral and candidate's dissertations. Under his supervision, 1 doctoral dissertation and 7 candidate's dissertations were defended.

He participated in more than 150 international scientific conferences. He is the author and co-author of more than 600 scientific papers, including 7 monographs, 9 chapters of monographs, 8 textbooks, more than 60 publications in international journals, 220 scientific articles in professional journals, 240 abstracts and conference proceedings, 65 patents and 3 know-how.

He is a member of the editorial boards of 3 international and 4 Ukrainian scientific journals and collections of scientific papers, a reviewer in 3 international scientific journals indexed in the international scientific and metric database Scopus.

His scientific and educational activities have been recognised with the medal "For Selfless Service to Science", award pins, the Letter of Acknowledgement of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as a number of honorary diplomas and awards.
