Research interests focus on the study and development of control systems for doubly-fed induction machines (DFIM/DFIG) with wound-rotor induction motors, as well as optimal control systems employing relay controllers. Particular emphasis is placed on developing vector control systems for power and speed regulation of doubly-fed machines, designing optimal control algorithms using relay and sliding-mode controllers, and synthesising robust automatic control systems to ensure high accuracy under varying load conditions.

Research is aimed at optimising the energy performance of wound-rotor electric drives, independently controlling active and reactive power, applying modal and optimal synthesis methods, and implementing digital control systems for wind power generation, pumping stations, and energy-intensive technological installations in order to improve the energy efficiency of modern electromechanical systems.
