Strategy

The University considers internationalization, on the one hand, as a very important tool for ensuring the quality of education and the processes that provide this education, its correlation with world-class academic achievements and the requirements of the domestic and global labor market, and on the other hand, as a way to ensure the development of the University as an educational institution. In our opinion, the process of including the University in international educational, scientific, and business cooperation can provide added value to the product we offer and additional benefits for all stakeholders in educational and scientific activities:

1) overcoming the objective limitations of the University's internal resources, the innovative environment of the METINVEST Group, and the educational and scientific space of Ukraine as a whole;
2) opening up new opportunities for personal and professional development for any student, teacher, researcher, or expert;
3) supporting and enhancing the reputation and academic authority of the University as a center for the accumulation of ideas and a source of innovative solutions, a hub for training and continuous improvement of personnel;

The University's development strategy and internal documents on ensuring the quality of education provide for internationalization tools in a number of areas:

In our opinion, the process of including the University in international educational, scientific, and business cooperation can provide added value to the product we offer and additional benefits for all stakeholders in educational and scientific activities:

  • The implementation of internationalization tools with entities/publishers/publications from countries that are engaged in armed aggression against Ukraine, or where it is known that the ultimate beneficiary of such entities/publishers/publications is entities from countries that are engaged in armed aggression against Ukraine) is considered unethical, at the very least, and will result in an assessment and potential administrative measures, and in cases specified by Ukrainian law, the corresponding types of liability provided for by law.

  • The implementation of internationalization tools must not contradict Ukrainian legislation on information, state secrets, Metinvest Group and University regulations on information security, or the Metinvest Group Code of Ethics, and must not damage the reputation of Metinvest Group or the University.
  •  
  • The University welcomes the initiative of its employees and applicants in implementing internationalization tools or promoting the implementation of such tools, but reserves the right to adjust or cancel such initiatives in certain cases or if such employees have exceeded their authority, and if the actions of employees and/or applicants may damage the reputation of the University or Metinvest Group.
