Research interests focus on the application of the theory of automated electromechanical and electrical engineering systems to mining and metallurgical enterprises, intelligent electric drive systems, energy-efficient variable-speed electric drives for technological equipment, and digital control systems for electric drives operating under complex and uncertain loading conditions. Particular emphasis is placed on fundamental and applied research in the field of energy-efficient automated electric drives, based on in-depth analysis of electrical engineering processes, mathematical modelling, and the synthesis of modern control systems for mining and metallurgical enterprises.
Research areas include the analysis and optimisation of operating modes of electric drives for mining machinery and metallurgical equipment; the development and improvement of automatic electric drive control systems with consideration of energy performance indicators; the study and development of electromechanical systems for mobile and stationary installations in the mining and metallurgical industry; and the implementation of energy-saving technologies together with digital methods for monitoring and diagnostics of electric drives.
