Learning management

  • The educational space under the student's Microsoft account is accessible from any computer or smartphone, allowing them to use all software applications.
  • Constant communication, group discussions, and personal discussions with the teacher encourage the community to learn. Assignments, important events, deadlines, and reminders are automatically added to the schedule and are always displayed in notifications. It is very convenient when all learning activities are integrated into MS Office applications.
  • Teachers are provided with real-time analytics on student activity, assignments, communication, and feedback.

Distance learning

  • Distance learning conducted in real time with screen sharing. Media content and gamification are added to the lecture as needed. An electronic whiteboard is connected if necessary.

  • Communication with the group during lectures is possible via chat or by raising a hand. Short quizzes may be conducted during the lecture.
  • Practical classes are conducted by giving students access to screen control to demonstrate tasks and projects.
  • Classes are recorded and remain available for review.

Methodological support

  • Course materials are stored in a single centralised solution using OneNote.
  • Modules are filled with educational content in shared folders. Students are provided with lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, and materials with links to additional resources. Shared access is available for simultaneous work on projects in a group using SharePoint. Convenient file and message sharing in Teams makes the educational process rich and dynamic.
  • Students can use their own notebooks to take notes or complete assignments.

  • Teachers create and distribute assignments with content included from OneDrive, links, and Forms tests. Assignments can be distributed as identical for several groups or assigned individually.
  • Students have access to upcoming and already submitted assignments, and progress can be adjusted within the set deadlines.
  • Deadlines, closing dates, and assignment plans are automatically displayed in the log. Grades are also automatically entered into the log and can be exported to a report card.
  • Conducting surveys and tests with Forms involves real-time analysis tools that allow you to obtain summary information and view the results of individual students. Test results can be exported to MS Excel for more detailed analysis.

Assessment

  • A transparent and understandable assessment system is in place for students. Criteria and standards with point distribution are specified for each assignment. Through a feedback cycle, the assessed assignment is returned to the student along with comments, reviews, and remarks.
  • Students receive their grades in real time and can always count on feedback from the teacher.
  • Test results are automatically entered into the journal.

What is Moodle?
 
Moodle is a free, open source system. Not only is it free itself, but it also does not require any paid software to operate. This means that every educational institution can implement not only a free and most advanced system, but also a fully licensed one, without spending a penny on software purchases. At the same time, it can make changes to the code according to its needs.
 
Moodle is the most advanced and widely used system of its kind in Ukraine and worldwide. Currently, Moodle has about 400 million users worldwide and continues to grow at a pace significantly faster than its competitors. A landmark event took place in 2018. According to statistics, the use of the Moodle platform worldwide exceeded the use of all other platforms combined.
