Training of specialists
The Department of Information Technologies and Data Analytics is a space where knowledge is transformed into real skills and modern professions. It prepares highly qualified specialists capable of converting large volumes of data into strategic decisions and creating innovative IT products. We combine a strong fundamental mathematical foundation with practical mastery of the most advanced development and analytical tools. Our goal is not simply to teach algorithms and programming, but to cultivate analytical thinking that enables our graduates to become architects of the digital future.
The Department of Information Technologies and Data Analytics prepares top-level professionals, including:
Data Analysts and Data Scientists who are able to see real trends behind numerical data;
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence engineers and researchers who design and develop the algorithms of the future;
System architects capable of building stable, scalable IT infrastructures of any complexity and scale.
We teach not just how to work with algorithms and code, we teach how to manage information, which is the most valuable resource in the world today. We develop not only knowledge, but also communication, management, leadership, and flexible thinking skills.
Fundamental knowledge
The primary mission of the Department of Information Technologies and Data Analytics is to prepare competitive experts in the fields of IT engineering and Data Science who possess a full technological stack – from algorithmic and software development to advanced Big Data analytics.
We teach students to create software products and apply artificial intelligence algorithms for modelling and forecasting processes within the digital economy. Our graduates are architects of digital transformation, ready to respond to the challenges of Industry 4.0.
The educational process and research activities of the Department are concentrated around three fundamental pillars of modern digitalisation:
methods of collecting, processing, and visualising large-scale data sets;
development of intelligent systems capable of self-learning and predictive analysis;
design and construction of software architectures that meet the demands of modern business.
