Terms and conditions of accessibility of the University for persons with special educational needs

The University is developing a system of educational services for people with special needs. To this end, special methods, teaching technologies and adaptive technical aids have been developed for the educational process. Each student has access to the facilities of the Distance Learning Centre and the resources of the electronic library. The University ensures the accessibility of educational premises for persons with disabilities and other groups with limited mobility, in particular unhindered access to the building, classrooms (groups) and other infrastructure. The absence of steps and other restrictive elements at the entrance to the building and the width of the doors to the premises ensure the accessibility of the places of intended visit and unhindered movement inside the buildings. The first floor houses both classrooms (lecture halls, computer labs with a total of 15 seats) and an assembly hall, lounge area, and cafeteria. The entrance door to the building is equipped with a security call button, which, if necessary, will provide additional assistance to a disabled or mobility-impaired person. Conditions are provided for unhindered and convenient movement around the site to the building and the surrounding area. The paths are connected to external transport and pedestrian communications, as well as the nearest public transport stops. Next to the University building, there is a pedestrian crossing and road signs warning drivers in advance of the crossing.
